Pierre-Louis STENGER

I'm a PHD student in genomics and epigenomics on the University of French Polynesia, in Tahiti.

I work in Ifremer of Vaira'o on the color of the blackliped oyster Pinctada margaritifera that is the species that make pearl.

I made a licence and master degrees on the University of La Rochelle, France, with a marine biology and ecology speciality.

During my education, I've made some interships:

- With IRD of Nouméa on the grazing of the Lobophora algae

-  In CNRS of La Rochelle on testing correlations between genetic diversity and chemical pollution exposure in a bioaccumulating marine bivalve.

-  Study the population structure of Commerson dolphins of the Kerguelen islands with photo-identification on CNRS-CEBC of Chizé, France.

- In CNRS of La Rochelle and GIS3M of Sausset-lès-pins, France, on the genetic population of botlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in the Mediterranean area.
